About The Author/Illustrator

Kay Babineau has been an author and illustrator ever since she was old enough to hold a crayon. In pursuing her career in the fine arts, she attended and graduated from Grossmont College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Painting, Drawing and Ceramic Sculpture with a minor in Photography.

After owning and operating a ceramics studio for many years, she went back to school to study computer graphics and fell in love with pixels. Combining her skills in fine art and writing, with her commercial skills in digital media, she is now writing and illustrating children’s books, something she loves doing very, very much.
